Imelda McNally

Hello, my name is Imelda McNally and I’m a holistic therapist here at Portlaoise Holistic Centre. I’m passionate about helping people feel their best and I bring almost 20 years of experience to every treatment.

My journey in holistic therapies began in 2002 when I became fascinated with the mind-body connection and the power of self-healing. I started my career as a Kinesiologist, Reiki Master, and Reflexologist. In 2008, I decided to further my education and enrolled at Lansdowne College of Acupuncture & Complimentary Medicine under the guidance of Dr Vincent Carroll. I qualified as a licensed acupuncturist three years later and have been a member of the ACI (Acupuncture Council of Ireland) ever since. It’s been the best thing I’ve ever done.

I’m also a qualified Mind Coach and Clinical Hypnotherapist, having completed my training at the Hypnosis Academy with Susan Wallace in 2018.

I believe that combining elements from different therapies can offer a more personalized approach to healing, and I strive to provide just that for my clients.

As a member of the ACI (Acupuncture Council of Ireland) and the NRRI (National Register Of Reflexologists), I’m happy to let you know that you can reclaim the cost of your acupuncture and reflexology treatments from your private health provider if it’s included in your policy.
