Why choose Happy Days soy candles ?

• Made locally in Portlaoise.

• Soy wax is non-toxic and biodegradable whereas paraffin wax is not.

• Soy wax is renewable and burns longer than paraffin wax by 30%-50%

• Our soy wax and fragrances have not been tested on animals and are cruelty free. They are are vegan friendly and free of pesticides and herbicides.

• Our gold tin candles burn for 35-40 hours and our amber jar and black tumbler candles approx 50 hours.

• Our containers can be cleaned with warm soapy water after use and can be reused for other purposes. All our tins are coated in a food safe lacquer.

• Our fragrance oils are a blend of natural plant based oils called essential oils, and synthetic compounds which contain strong aromas. They are paraben free

Candle Types

We have three candle types;

A 250 ml. gold tin with lid. The tin holds 200 grams of wax and burns for 35-40 hours. The tin comes in an organza bag.

A 260 ml. amber glass jar with a black lid. The jar holds 220 grams of wax and burns for approx 50 hours. The jar comes in an organza bag.

A 300 ml. black tumbler with a bamboo lid and a warm gold electroplated interior, this stunning interior has a reflective finish that will glow with the candle’s flame. These are high quality, long burning and beautifully fragranced soy candles. The tumbler contains 240 grams of wax and burns for approx 50 hours. The jar comes in an organza bag

All our candles are high quality, long burning and beautifully fragranced. Our candles are made up of 10% fragrance oil to give an amazing scent throw, both cold and hot.

Fragrance Oils

Currently we use 12 different fragrance oils in our candles.

• Lemon & Lime is a fresh green citrus accord with dominant notes of lime alongside spearmint. Our bestseller !

• Lavender is identical to freshly picked lavender flowers. This fragrance is bursting with floral aroma, this scent is just like walking through a lavender field in the heart of summer.

• Christmas Spice captures the embodiment of the festive period. Freshness of the seasons is captured with the zest of lemons and orange. Warmth of the wood fire is embodied through spices such as Cinnamon, Ginger, Thyme and Nutmeg. A classic Christmas fragrance perfect for the spice lover.

• Black Raspberry & Vanilla is a lovely fruity floral fragrance opening with citruses, mixed berries, apple and pineapple leading into a soft floral heart of rose, jasmine and violet resting on a base of gentle wood, amber and musk.

• Rose is a sophisticated and elegant scent, identical to freshly picked roses. Remind yourself of summer with this beautiful, deep, crisp, red rose fragrance.

• Bergamot & Patchouli – the heady aroma of patchouli fills the air with a citrus twist of bergamot. Tangelo, white gardenia and vetiver round out this exceptional scent.

• Black Cherry has a strong and vibrant scent, identical to a tub of ripe cherry’s. Retaining all the sweetness of cherry while adding rum notes and deep red tartness.

• Lemongrass & Ginger has top notes of ground ginger roots, followed by mouth watering lemongrass with a hint of freshly grated lemon peel and coriander seeds.

• Our Lime Basil & Mandarin candle has notes of peppery basil and aromatic white thyme which brings an unexpected twist to the scent of limes on a Caribbean breeze. A modern classic A classic high quality fragrance.

• Rose & Lavender is bursting with floral aroma, this is a blending of freshly picked lavender and rose flowers.

• Sandalwood & Black Pepper is rich and full, this luxury aroma of smooth sandalwood and cracked black peppercorn is enhanced further by fresh citrus top notes, warm woods and exotic musks.

• Coconut Lime. Embark on an indulgent journey with this dynamic tropical blend! Coconut, limes, orange, lemon and a hint of strawberry dazzle the senses, while coconut, peach and floral notes tempt you with fragrance. Finally, a sweet base of vanilla sugar and musk beckon you to linger.
